About

A. V. Samsonovich - Professor of the Department of Cybernetics of ICIS NRNU MEPhI, head of the laboratory BICA Lab at ICIS NRNU MEPhI, scientific leader of ICIS NRNU MEPhI, chief researcher of ICIS NRNU MEPhI. From 1999 to 2020 - (co)PI of seven grants. The main scientific results of A.V. Samsonovich include: (1) the theory of biological continuous attractor neural networks; (2) a semantic mapping technique; (3) cognitive architectures GMU BICA (2006, jointly with K.A. De Jong) and eBICA, formalizing the model of social-emotional AI. Currently Samsonovich A.V. is working to combine cognitive (eBICA) and neural network approaches in AI.
